Players turning 8 (born 2013), 9 (born 2012) and/or 10 (born 2011) are eligible to play in the DPNA NetSetGO Non-Competitive, modified fixtures.
*Players turning 7 (born 01 Jan-30 Jun 2014) AND in Grade 2 at school, will also be eligible for the NetSetGO 8/9yrs division. NB: Children born 01 Jul-31 Dec 2014, are NOT eligible for NetSetGO Fixtures but encouraged to participate in the DPNA 8-week NetSetGO Skills Program for 5-7yrs (info above).
The 2021 DPNA NetSetGO Non-Competitive Fixture will be:
Where: Downey Park Netball Association, Corner Green Terrace and Northey Street, Windsor
When: 14 week Fixtures on from Saturday 20 March 2021 - Saturday 07 August 2021
Time: Game time depends on the division that your team plays in. Draw to be released 10 March 2021
Format: Modified matches look like a traditional game of netball and use the full sized court and normal playing positions but use:
- modified rules (see here),
- a shorter hoop height (2.4m high instead of 3.05m),
- a smaller ball (Size 4 instead of Size 5) and
- a slightly shorter match length (4x 10 minute quarters).

How to join: To participate, players need to register with one of our clubs. Players will be placed in a team by the club and will play together each week. Most clubs will have a training session each week (training day, time, location determined by club/team).
Cost: Player fees are determined by each individual club. Included in your playing fee is a Suncorp NetSetGO Participant Pack which will be mailed to you directly from Netball Australia. Please note, this portion of fees ($25.30) is non-refundable.
What to Wear: Players will need to wear the club uniform. Your club will be able to advise requirements and cost of items.
