FeesTerms and conditions

The 2026 GBNL Trials are for players who wish to trial for DPNA's 2026 GBNL teams. GBNL caters for netballers over the age of 15 only.

**ALL GBNL EMERALD PLAYERS ARE ELIGIBLE TO TRIAL FOR SELECTION IN THE 2026 SEASON**

TRIALS - ALL AGES
Trial #1: Monday 2 February, 6:00pm - 8:00pm
Trial #2: Monday 9 February, 6:00pm - 8:00pm
Nominations close: Friday 31st January 2025, 5:00pm

All trials will be held at the DPNA courts.

ATTENDANCE
Attendance at both trials is compulsory. Players who do not attend Trial #1 & Trial #2 without explanation will be deemed ineligible for selection. Exceptions may be considered on a case-by-case basis. If a player is unable to attend due to illness or injury, they must notify DPNA by emailing repinfo@downeypark.com.au. In such cases, a medical certificate and/or return-to-play plan must be submitted in order to remain eligible.

PREFERRED TRIAL POSITIONS
Players must nominate two preferred positions. However, selectors reserve the right to trial or select players in alternate positions based on team needs and player versatility.

$20 per player

TEAM ANNOUNCEMENTS
Teams will be announced via email on Friday 13 February 2026.

One or two teams per age group will be selected following trials, depending on participant numbers. Training Partners may also be selected, based on age group and overall numbers.

GBNL PLAYER FEES
TBC. For reference, 2025 player fees were $655 (Competitive Player) and $395 (Training Partner).

TRAINING
Team training will commence on 16 February 2026, with weekly sessions held on Monday evenings.

FIXTURES
GBNL Fixtures will be held at Nissan Arena on Thursdays (23s & Opens) and Fridays (16s & 18s).

Terms and conditions

  • Trial Fee
    The $20 trial fee is non-refundable.

    Club Commitment Requirement
    Players selected for GBNL teams are expected to play Club for DPNA’s 2026 Saturday Winter fixtures competition. Players over the age of 18 may apply for an exemption from playing Club in writing to repinfo@downeypark.com.au.

    Financial Status
    Any player who is deemed currently “not financial” will not be permitted to register for the 2026 GBNL Representative Trials.

    Withdrawal After Selection
    Any player who withdraws after the announcement of the teams, depending on the nature of the reason, may be deemed ineligible to trial for DPNA in the following representative season.

    Code of Behaviour
    The Player(s) and Primary Carer on this registration form agree to abide by DPNA’s Player and Parent/Guardian Code of Behaviour, which can be found at:

    Non-adherence to these Codes may result in players being withdrawn from the 2026 GBNL program.
